Licensed pilots will learn the art of tailwheel flying in our vintage RAF training aircraft G-BCXN. The Chipmunk is renowned for its legendary handling characteristics.

Your instructor will take you through the syllabus to convert you from a tricycle to tailwheel pilot. Learn the art of 3-point, short field & soft field landings.

By the end of the course you’ll be competent in all aspects of Chipmunk flight. You’ll benefit from the six runways of White Waltham ensuring continuity of into wind flight training. The course will ensure you leave with the skill set to progress further in the vintage tailwheel world should you wish.
